Sonoran Sea Aquarium with a Sea of Cortez Theme

The Sonoran Sea Aquarium Foundation retained Hunter Interests, Inc., in association with Van H. Gilbert Architect PC,
to develop a feasibility analysis for the Sonoran Sea Aquarium in Tucson, Arizona. A market and financial feasibility was
conducted for a Sea of Cortez-themed aquarium. VHGA designed a concept for a unique regional aquarium featuring
sea life from the Sea of Cortez.

The concept included exhibits ranging from 500,000 – 650,000 gallons, $22M to $30M construction costs.  A diverse
range of size and species plus viewing options makes the vision entertaining, educational, and stimulating.
